you wont gain persay but you will get power back, less strain on the motor and less weight if you remove all the components
if you want to see just take the belt off the compressor and drive

granted you still have the 40extra lbs up there from all the ac stuff but u will see

for a daily driver id leave it

i have no ac and its ok, but meh

you dont gain power from lightweight cam gears, lol most are the same weight
you can make power because they are adjustable

pulleys are junk, might make up some lost power but its junk

Not having A/C is ok if you live somewhere that it never goes above 80 degrees.

Here it'll be 95 degrees and raining.

A/C is the only thing that will keep your windows defogged when it is.
