1) I dyed my floormats awhile ago (red) and they ended up leaking onto the carpet in the car. So now I have red dye stains on the dark gray carpet. It was the rit-dye from Joanne's. They have a dye "remover", but im not sure if its safe for carpet. Anybody had experience with removing carpet dye from carpet?

2) I put the 1999-2000 dx "no armrest" in my car and had to remove the orignal back bracket from the console in order to make it work. There are no holes to bolt the console piece to a bracket or anything. Im wondering, how does the dx "no armrest" console piece normally stay in place?

Heres a reference page:

the rit dye remover should work fine on your carpet. it wont hurt your carpet it might just not come out as well as if it was on fabric. there should be another bracket that is made for the DX center console

The armrest delete piece should have two little clips at the back on the bottom. They clip into a piece on the car. They often break off though (the clips).

I don't think there's an extra cracket for the delete. Maybe I can go look at Eran's later. He has an armrest now and it doesn't hook at the back because he has no barcket for the armrest piece.

Are the clips on the back of yours even still there? All of the used ones I've seen are broken.
