Just installed my air/fuel gauge, and it wont display reading. I taped into the green/black wire on harness which goes to the white wire on 02 sensor...

Im not sure if tapping the harness instead of the sensor wire would cause it to not work, or am i on the wrong circuit all together???

i just tried tapping the green wire, as that is what a friend told me his was on, and now it spikes every 30s-1min so im wondering if my 02 sensor might be bad. It does throw a cel about once a day.

The black is a ground, you need a better ground. Or did you use wire taps? Its posible they didn't make a connection.

i tapped green/black... not black. (you may know that, and i misunderstood your reply). But anyway, I ended up tapping green on sensor... and it gives a 1sec reading every minute or so. Otherwise, it just sits at the bottom. Im wondering if my o2 is going bad, as it throws a cel about once a day.

are we talking about an autometer a/f gauge? if so, you seriously wont get any usable information from that. Get a WBO2 sensor!

come on... someone is seriously gotta know what color wire to tap into.

On the sensor, Is it white or green???

Can someone please go out to their car and take a quick look? I'd really appreciate it.

send it back and get a WBO2

Buying another autometer A/F light show :thumbdown but whatever, you should be tapping into the white wire near the ECU
