Ok so the other day i had contacted a good friend of mine about help with finding a radiator, and low and behold! He had a brand new OEM Replacement Koyo sittin in his apartment, which had been there for several months. The radiator was still in original packaging, NEVER taken out of the box. The catch? It's for a 2nd gen prelude (a 90 with a jdm b20a to be specific) but never-the-less he offered it to me for $100. Now, the bodyshop my cars at, and insurance wanted $102 for the stock civic half size.
The stock civic half size is 14.5" wide... the prelude is 27 3/8"... you tell me which one youd pick for the same price, especially if you have cooling problems.
Heres a few pics of the radiator:
And today my type r style rear lip, and my mugen style front lip came... finally, after 6 weeks of waiting! Im going to dummy fit the rear before i get it painted to match the car just to see if i like it or not, if not, im going to be selling it. I plan to get the front lip and sideskirts paint matched for sure while they have the paint mixed.
Heres a few pics of the lips before i take them to the bodyshop monday morning:
The front lip has a few problems that appear to be there due to a bad molding, nothing that cant be wetsanded out. Mainly its just a few harsh lines that shouldnt be there, but i plan to spend some time wetsanding it to smooth those out before i take it to the shop to have them paint it.
