Im doing a b16a2 swap wiht a t3/t4 turbo into my civic this summer.....and i am having a bit of a problem, cuz i want to buit the moter up to hold about 20psi. (not boosting that much, just 10-12, just want to be safe, better safe the sorry) but anyhow. I know i need new pistions, rings, and rods. but i cant seem to find a good site for them. anyone know one? with some experience with them. also i am wanting to put new cams into it. cant seem to find them eather...any help i would like...thank you
also if i need to build up more on the motor to be safe let me know. thanks.

*edit* im getting a s100 or a s200 for my ecu, i have an msd external coil for it, ill be getting ngk plugs and wires. skunk2 intake mani. act stage 2 or 3 clutch, lsd tranny, taking out my ac and ps, aem cam gears, walbro 255 lph pump, rc 440 injectors, aem fuel rail. hks bov, hks boost controller. and a full port and polish

i want to do this the right way the first time so i dont f*ck up my motor. if you guys any experience let me know.

Im thinking i am going to get the stage 3 drag kit....will integra type-r cams help a lot more then the stock b16a?

i know that JE pistons and rods are really good, don't know if they make 'em for the b16a2 though. i think crower make them too but not sure.

the crower pistiosn that i could find that were forged were high conpresion. i didnt think i wanted much over 9.5:1? the lowest compresion i could find was close to 11.3:1 so yeah.....i tried finding je but could not find the one si wanted. :(

www.raceeng.com id suggest 9.0 compression since you want to boost high. this is what i would do

pistons: 9.0:1 je pistons
rods: Crower billet rods
crank: eagle 4340 steel crank
cams: crower turbo cams
rings: total seal rings

thats what i would do if you want to be safe, if you want to be anal safe then get some new sleeves and perhaps a cylinder brace.

btw: raneeng.com has engine kit packages.

I dont think that the type r cams are goin to help you any due to the fact that they have a higher lift and longer overlap than the stock b16. If i were you i would stick with the stock cam for awhile until you can afford a turbo specific cam like one from crower.

oh and dont go drag turbo kit. piece together you own usting the best parts you can get. itl lbe alot cheaper and youl lmake more power. the drag manifolds are shitty, the wastegate placement is the worst i have seen

ive have stayed up for the last month or more doing reserch........reading as much as i possably can.....i was j/w if some ppl has had some exp in doing this swap or a good parts companey that i could go through, so that I did not have to pay a lot for sh*t. so blah.

helpful info can be found on google, if you were to LOOK there first and ask a specific question rather then a basic question which has been answered 10000000000000000 times then you would realize that you want people to hold your hand thru this :roll:

well your first issue is those "pistions" wont work on your car... its not german JK lol i would suggest, stick with stock cams, piece together your own turbo kit, junkyard a turbo if you have to, much cheaper, you will save yourself much more money in the long run and be able to create a more powerful setup with the extra $$ you have rather than buying a kit, a kit is like sometimes 1000$ more of what you could piece together a better setup urself
