7 for style ( i really think you can do better than the type r front lip.. Imo that lip is for entry level cars which you are not)
9 for flow
7 for potential.

That's a really really silly thing to say. Who cares what people in a magazine who have thousands upon thousands of dollars to throw at their car think? These are people who have access to whatever they want, and they do not dictate the actions of the rest of the tuner scene.

I personally think Si/CTR lips are some of the nicest for 99-00 front ends. The mugen lips don't seem to flow as well, Greddy lips are too huge, Spoon lips have a funky curve to them, JUN lips look like ass and a half.

Sorry if you think that a lip that looks damn good is too low-brow for a nice car

It's kind of bunk. I've got about 20 car mags in front of me. Most of the cover cars have bigmouth kits to accomadate a massive turbo. So body kits must be high-class, and a type-r lip is entry level.

Oh, but wait.

HondaTuning ... April 2006, the cover car is a 96-spec civic. It has .... a type-r lip. Further in, there's a 93 hatch .... with it's factory lip. Then, there's a 99 civic hatch .... with a type-r lip.

Then in my November 2005 Import Tuner .... the cover car .... is a 99 hatch with a ..... *gasp* type-r lip.

Then, in my April 2006 Super Street ... they have that baby blue 99 hatch with the red Work wheels in the calender of events .... and it has a type-r lip

....

Fact of the matter is, I don't even see lots of 6th gen civics in magazines lately. So I guess driving a civic is just entry level too. You're entitled to your oppinion, this is true, and I won't knock you for having it. But trying to back it up by saying magazine car's don't have that lip is just foolish.

someones panties are in a bunch, lol. jk. The Type R lip isn't bad but there are much better styles out there. I think thats all Blackhope was trying to say. It's sort of like the lip you get before you see what else is out there. not to mention that it's really not from any Type R. Machinehead, your sedan is looking good as always, I look forward to it getting even better.

i think his car looks hot.. he knows that.....i also think the type r lip doesnt have style.... does it flow? yes, yes it does. in fact it flows very well.

However I believe the 96-00 type r lip has no style to it.. Your opinion is just as valid as mine. And in my opinion his car is too nice to have it..

As for your extensive search for magazine civics with type r lips. 1)The april 2006 car has a real type r lip.. The one that is/ or resembles the one that was actually made by honda
2) a 93 civic with a factory lip?! Thats not a type r lip, thats not his year or generation, hell there wasnt even a civic type r that year :rolls:
3)PLEASE that baby hatch has THE REAL TYPE R LIP(or si lip). not the one im talking about in the photos above on machineheads car.

This is the lip i suggested he get and which im pretty sure he has waiting for us to see
