A New Noise...

So i was driving and i got to this really long straight stretch... and i couldn't pass it up... so i floored it... but when i was riding my gears i noticed this noise... i never notced it before... but anyway so i kept on driving and when i was riding the clutch i heard it again... so i was just wondering if u guys have any idea what it would be.. or i'm just getting paranoid... lol plz tell me i'm getting paranoid

what exactly fo you mean by "riding" your gears? You were getting it on with ur shifter knob???

listen to your enging with the hood up, rev it a few times, if no noise is head for the engine then its your gearbox. does this only happen at high rpms or normal driving conditions, and what kind of weather are you in?
