AC fan noise (sample included!)

Hello wise ones,

When I turn on the fan, I get a noise which has grown steadily louder over the past few weeks. It is coming from behind the glove compartment and is not influenced by whether the compressor is turned on or not. It sounds like this:

Could I get some advice as to how to repair this?

Blower motor is located in the glove compartment. That's all I can think of
