AC Fan problem

Hello,
After fixing my oil pan, I noticed that when I turn on my car the AC Fan automatically turns on? Why is this? I know it is to cool down the engine so it doesn't over heat, but why does it trigger the fan to turn on? Is this a good thing or a problem I should be worried about? Thanks

it wont cause any harm that its spinning. just pulling air through

Are you sure the condenser fan (driver side) is turning on rather than the radiator fan (passenger side)?

^what i was thinking. AC fan doesnt cool the motor down lol

Ya, its the driver side fan. Should I be worried?
