ok so the guy I got my car from wrecked it and never fixed the a/c. so now I am tryn to fix it. I replaced the condenser cause it had a hole in it and the drier. I vacuumed the system and added Freon now line from the compressor to the condenser gets hot not cold like it should the compressor kicks on and stays on the condenser fan turns on (after I cleaned the connecters). the pressure on the high side is a little low and low side a little high. It was right when I filled it and now its a little off. any suggestions

Did you leak test the system prior to refilling?

What weight of R134a did you add?

What are the high and low side pressures with the A/C on and engine held at 1500 rpm? State outside temp during test as well.

Given your username, do you have a large head?

The only leak I could find was one line, the low side valve steam, and the condenser. I fixed them and replaced the drier. The pressure turned out to be low. But I stopped filling when I burnt my hand on the line. I will check the numbers in the morning I don't remember the numbers but iv never had the high pressure line get so hot.

I used pag 46 and reg. Freon

Regular Freon is R12. I presume you actually used R134a.

The only proper way to recharge the A/C system is by weight.
