I bought a gsr cluster for my car a little while ago, and It does not have the correct miles on the cluster. How can I add about 10k to the miles? I just want it to be correct for inpections and all that.

haha I do drive a lot, but I might be selling my car next week. I told the kid it has more miles then the cluster says, and he said he will "feel better" if it has the correct miles on it. I am getting more then what I paid for it. That is the only reason I am selling it, so I can buy somthing I really want.1999stockaccord said:

ive done it MANY times.. and here is the best answer
if you have the ability to do it (because it is a little bit of a pain in the ass) you will be able to tell HOW just by looking at it.. if you take the odometer apart and look at it and its confusing looking (on a mechanical level) just put it back you wont be able to figure it out.. its a pretty simple mechanism.. but its touchy.. i would also wear rubber gloves the kind that DONT smear.. the most ANNOYING part is to get EVERYTHING back together and notice a finger print on the INSIDE..

haha, I just took out the speedometer. Unscrewed all the screws loosened the gear with a butter knife and cranked up the miles to 47k. Thanks for the input.oc_civic said:when i did it.. i did it from behind
