I wanna b18 swap my civic. I hear the obd2 b1 is a plug and play swap. But I'm wondering what I will need and everything and what motor to use etc.

Which engine to use would really depend on what you want, if you're looking for power right off the bat, if you want Vtec, etc. I'm assuming you want the simplest route possible.. Therefore the B18B would probably be the route to go, they're plentiful and relatively cheap, basically plug and play. You can even reuse your D-Series harness in the vehicle I believe with minimal modification (I'm sure you could find more information about this on this forum). You would need any B-Series hydro tranny along with the corresponding motor parts for that engine(intake mani, exhaust mani, fuel rail, dizzy, axles, etc, etc) I believe you need a rear engine mount bracket from an SI I believe for it to work correctly (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) and I think you could reuse your other D-Series mounts if you're on a budget.. Yonaka sells a set of swap mounts for this exact project for like 60$ though.. And you might need to swap out your throttle cable, the one for the original engine is probably a different length. I haven't done the swap myself, I've helped out a couple of friends do B-Series swaps, and I've torn down my Integra like 4 times lol.. They're a pretty easy drivetrain to work with in general and with some knowledge I think you could even have it in, by the end of a weekend (I know I had my B18 out in a night quite easily).. If you're looking for specifics a quick google search could probably bring you to a complete 'How to' guide.

Or feel free to ask, specifics, someone on here could help, or maybe me if it's something I've dealt with in the past.
