Hi, ive got a 97 civic hatch b16a. Car is completely stock. But im looking to turbo the motor. Im not completely clued up on fine technical turbo charging details. Im just looking for basic advice on what I have to do in order to make the motor reliable with the turbo charging? I want to get about 260bhp more or less out of the motor? and im gonna be driving the car every day. Any suggestions on what my baseline is gonna be on what to do with the motor? for example, should I replace all stock internals and get forged one's? What kind of turbo? Boost range? ect.

Its all about how much money u have or want to spend, but yes, building the engine is a very good idea for better reliability...

you would be safe on 6-8 psi with a stock motor and a good tune. just dont beat the hell out of it daily and it would last. t3/4 small turbo would spool amazing at a low psi get u where u want to be for power and last!
