AEM wideband o2 gauge

I have the AEM wideband o2 sensor and gauge, i received it as a gift and i was looking through everything and was wondering what exactly it does and does it need to be tuned ? Any info is greatly appreciated.

yes you'll need to have it tuned..tuning on a wideband sensor is the best way to tune
