Sup people..

I'm gone untill March. I've got to go to teh B.C. Canada for the rest of the winter.
My job's got me doing some testing for a major Canadian phone company up in the city of Vancouver.

I'll be back and fourth between Tejas and B.C. but I doubt I'll be posting on the forums or able to go to any meets until March, being that the few days I will be home will be spent on quality time w/ my girlfriend and writing checks to the myriad debtors for whom I owe..

I'm off to catch a flight.. /waves

I almost got turned back at the Airport - I didn't have the proper documentation stating that I had a valid reason to work [through the company I work for] up here in Canada.. f**kers - the Immigration officer was a huge d**k to me.. but they let me through until Friday so that I could obtain the propper documentation.

...

It'd be nice if I could [check out the scene].. I'm not 25 so I can't rent a car - so I'm stuck relying on my Canadian contacts for Transportation to and from work *Blah*

I wouldn't know where to go if I did have a car - I'm not much one for socializing unless someone extends an invitation. Dunno why that is.. but anyhoo..

The scenery is beautiful.. I'm staying in the Renaissance Hotel overlooking the harbor in Vancouver.. across the water are a bunch of import/export ship yards and the north west half of Vancouver - behind that are the Rocky Mountains shrouded by clouds.

Amaizingly enough - it's warmer up here than it was in Dallas before I left - the mountains block the wind so it's around 10c (50F) with no wind chill.. It's rather comfortable..

Once i get back to the states I'll post some pictures of what ever I find out here. Aside from the inflated Canadian prices - it looks like Vancouver would be an awesome place to live.
