I own a 1995 Civic, and I've recently had problems with starting my car. There is a delay in the fuel pump, where it could take anywhere between 1-5 minutes to kick in, and sometimes it doesn't delay at all. I've done lots of research on the subject, and always end up with the same results.
I have replaced the main relay twice, I currently have a brand new Honda genuine relay in it now. My fuel filter is relatively new. I have checked one or two fuses people recommended to check, all are perfectly fine. I've done a power test on the connectors to the fuel pump, and it does have power. Ive also done the old fashioned "kick-the-tank" method, and nothing kicks in. So now Im looking towards the fuel pump itself.
A Honda geuine pump is too exspensive for me, so I need to know what is the absolute best aftermarket fuel pump I can buy. I do not want an Airtex pump, because Ive heard too many bad things about it. I would also like to know what is recommended to replace when I do this job.
