I hope i've posted this in the right forum....

There's a shop up here selling an aftermarket kit (actuators, control unit, etc...), basically everything I need to make a keyless entry system. has anyone ever installed these before, and are they difficult to install? Wiring doesn't look that hard, but i'm not sure about installing the actuators and the metal connecting rod...

Mounting the actuators is not that hard, just have to find a good spot inside the door if there's space, enough to clear the window. Then you run the green and blue wires throught the door jam and into the unit. It's really not that hard, just time consuming.

As far as the metal rod, you might have to bend it to take form so that it's parrallel(sp) to the stock rod. Then just clamp it down with the provided clamp.

Any other questions, let me know

LOCTITE the screw on the rod clamp... Notorious for backing out, loosening up or whatever, causing the rod to fall off and the DLA rendered useless..
