Aftermarket seat on stock seat brackets?

Did a little bit of search but didn't get too far. How much custom work would I have to do to throw some bucket seats from k2 onto my stock brackets?

My roomie just finished making some brackets out of angle iron. Cheap route, perfect fit.

They arent that difficult to make brackets for it if possible thats what i would do. I put cheap ass apc seats on the stock brackets in my friends brothers civic it was more of a pain to modify the stock ones and make them work right i should have just made ones for the seats. Not sure if it was just the horribly made apc seats that made it so difficult havent put seats in anything since.

Just search craigslist for aftermaket brackets.

I scored 2 sparco seats, sparco brackets, and sliders for 400$

you can probably find brackets dirt cheap.

Yeah brackets aren't too expensive I just didn't know if I could save some cash by doin' it myself. Thank you everyone for your replies.

If you have the tools and knowhow i say make them all day man its cheap and it aint that hard.
