ok, my car is 98 ex coupe.
my plan is to upgrade my steering wheel to a removable unit with a nrg locking hub. my car is a commuter so i do want to keep the cruise control.

what im wondering is if there is a way to retain my cruise control buttons from the oem steering wheel (relocate them) so i would be able to use an aftermarket removable wheel/hub?

iv seen alot of people go with aftermarket steering wheels and im wondering if they just completely removed everything when they did so.

anyone who has done this who can help would be grealy appreciated. thanks :D

I found this thread after searching, its not for a civic, but it shows cruise control mounted to the dash. I believe it is possible, just a pain.

im not exactly sure but i think you would have to relocate the buttons somewhere other than on the wheel itself. when i put on my new steering wheel the horn and srs cable was a big coil setup and all the wires were in one ribbon so my guess is that if your car has cc they would just add the wires into that. so when you put the new hub/wheel on you will have to take the horn/srs/cc ribbon-thing off. but im not entirely positive on this since my car didnt have cc.
