Aftermarket stereo system installation

ok so i"m attepmting to put a new pioneer deck in my "98 LX. problem is, the back of the stock sterio has a braket the screws to the back of it to bolt to the internals of the dash. Holding it in place. The Pioneer deck, obv. doesnt have said bracket..... How the F ck do you get the new deck to stay put in the console???

Dont you have bolts on the bottom of the climate control where the 12v output is at? I believe its (4) 8mm bolts.

once you install the sleeve that goes around the new deck slide in the new deck and it will lock in place. I say dont worry about the back bracket.

ok so what r u talking about installing the sleeve (yes ik WHAT the sleeve is). How do you "install" it. sry, i have ABSOLUTLY 0 knowledge about sterios ect. i could build an engine out of coconut shells and sand, but cant install a sterio lol.

:rotflmfao: yea, well i could build a stereo out of coconut shells and sand (think i might need a potato too) but i sure suck at engines...
