air conditioner woes

been working on my air conditioner. When the compressor kicks on it drags down the rpm,s the head lights dim and acts like it gonna stall . Alternator was going bad replaced it . When I hooked the battery back it ran like a champ,idled up to compensated for compressor. then went back to its odl ways.Any ideas?

don't know how much it will help but try cleaning or even replacing your grounds
