Air filter

What kind of air filter would you put in a 96 civic??? Also how do you take it out and put it in?? This isnt for an intake

You can just get the honda OEM one, or something from K & N if you so desire. The install is fairly simple. Your airbox (big square plastic whore) is at the left side of your engine bay. It has clips on it. toggle the clips and you can see the old square filter there.. pull it out.. install new one.. close clips and viola..

its a black plastic box on the left behind the headlight

k i see it on mine its in the middle, i seen the box behind the left headlight but it didnt have clips on it but then i looked over and there she was thanks for the help dirtyd and leon

Ok here is a picture.. It belongs to SeanJohn, but hopefully he wont mind.

It is the large black box directly to the left of the red cover.

^^^ thats not his engine... the dx air box/ filter is mounted on top of the throttle body right above the head.

its the big box with a hose coming out... just pull the 4 clips out and install the new filter.

it's that big black box that's attatched to the top of ur motor by hte big black hose (connected to the silver thing on the top of ur motor) (intake manifold)
