Air performance filter

Hey. What kind of air filter would you guys recommend for my 92 DX HB? I was thinking of pipercross viper, any experience with that on a civic?

all CAI and short ram systems are the same to me...

they are just a pipe and a filter.... go grab the cheapest combo you can find...

It's more than likely that they are like every other product on the market. That is, there is probably only about 2 or 3 companies who actually manufacture the product. Then each company takes it and puts there name on it.

So I'd definitly agree with abej6 on this one. Get a cheapo... who cares what the name on it is... it's still the same thing.

If you want just a filter to put in the box Get a K&N. If you want an intake get an injen. If you decide to get a short ram intake then later decide you want a cold air intake guess what with injen you can buy a cold air extension.

There's definately a difference between a cheap cai and a name brand. Mostly in the filter though, not so much the intake. Unless you go with an aem vII. I've seen dyno results that show the vII does draw air much more uniformly than other models.
