Air to air and air to water

I was talking to this guy not farway and he was telling he he was Gunna run a front mount air to air and a tube air to water in the line too. I know u could technically do this but what that be beneficial?? Theoretically it would make the air cooler and denser but idk

Just put a water sprayer in so it sprays the intercooler. Couldn't be simpler

Keller, just a heads up, you are at pace to be a ban rather quickly, slow your roll and chill out.

but to the point of the thread, Air-water is unnecessary in any application that is not top alcohol class.
air-air with at most a water or nitrous cooling spray is far more than adequate up-to and beyond 700-1000whp.

Air-water is typically only considered when there is a burst of CFM so violent and fast that air-air does not have the thermodynamic capability to cool that much air fast enough at any speed. In these cases air-water... really air- ice water is in place, in conjunction with meth injection and plenty of tune time.

IMHO air-water is a waste on a car that touches pure pavement. Air-air with an appropriately sized intercooler would be perfect.

BUT combined with your other threads, a china charger to a air-water cooling system is neither show.. nor go... and is just a ton of expense.. and if you go for an ebay air-water set-up, I see boost+ hydrolock in your future.

My friend had a cool idea on his subie, he had a metal basket tack welded onto his Intercooler. When he races he fills it with ice and a bit of salty water. Stays nice and cool.
