Airbag light

Hi all, I am a new member with an issue. I bought a 2007 Type S which has been upgraded to look like a Type R. It has just failed it's MOT on the airbag light been on. The connectors on the Type R seats are different to the connectors on the car. How do I get round this problem without buying new seats?
