alarm/ engine swap?

this may be a stupid question but for some reason i cannot figure it out, if i am to install a alarm/ remote start in my car and in the future do a full motor swap will it have to be re wired, or will it be fine and work just as it did before a swap?

It should be fine as long as u work around the wires under the hood.. the alarm has nothing to do with ur motor besides ur starter.

so the only thing that would have to be rewired is the starter? is this correct?

no you wouldnt have to re-wire anything, all the connections for an alarm/remote start are made under the dash. how do i know? cause i have one in my car...
