my friend has a lowjack alarm system on his 92 hatch... its one of those security'z with the chip under the area where the steering wheel is... and just recently someone tried hotwiring his car and wasnt able to steal it cuz of the removed chip... without that chip in the slot, the car is unstealable... has anyone heard of this alarm system?? and any site where i can find it...

I've heard of it and I have it in my car, BUT it was already installed wheb I got the car. You can also bypass that that chip. So it's really actually worthless if the guy who steals your car knows what he is doin'.
^^ he bought the car from this old lady with it already installed... at first i was thinkin that it came stock from the factory with it...
alright i see. look to see if u can see the controler for it and look for a company name
like i've said before, if someone wants your car bad enough... they will get it. i have an auto-lock and an alarm and hopefully the time factor of getting both those off will detour a theif before someone notices. but unfortunately, there's pretty much a way around ALL security devices. just when you think you've one up'd them... their back. it's life
