I am moving to Orlando and I have read lots of things about thefts down there and heard its pretty bad for civics.. SO I was wondering what security system to get on my car. Price is not an issue I just want to keep my car from getting stolen so, I have read up on a couple of different systems but I was wondering if any of you had some nice systems that you would recommend to me! Anything made by DEI. I personally use a Viper 5701. That, the 5900 and 5901 are great top of the line models as well. The 2-way page feature is a must and so is manual transmission remote start.

just pull your ecu every night. it's free and effective, and you look really cool carrying a metal case around everywhere, then the old ladies in the mall food court ask you "what's that cha got there sonny?" and you reply "its my motha fukin obd2bizzle fuel injaktin vtak engagin v10 pwnin engine control unitizle, grandma!"

the scene is not as bad as you make it sound. its bad.. but its not horrible.. there are lots of other makes and models. just keep a low profile. dont be too flashy. and be cautious is all. im 50 min away from orlando and when they meet... usually a hundred or so cars come out. right next to all the prostitutes..!
haha well i just don't want to have to be watching out for my car 24/7 you know I had rather have that extrad security when I lay my head down at night. I know its not like if I go down there my car will be stolen but I had rather not find my car gutted somewhere.. Just a personal preferance. Thanks for all of your imputs! I have heard a lot of good things about the viper systems too just making sure it was a good product!
