Alarm Systems and Radar Detectors

Anyone know what kind of alarm system i should buy for my 98 ex coupe? Also, what type of radar detector? I was thinking a valentine one?

for alarms, its been covered multiple times and I believe most of us agree on DEI alarms... www.directed.com

radar detectors, if you can spring for a v1 do it, search for some reviews

for alarms i would go directed electronic or dei, as far as radar detectors i have a lil 59.99 cheapy and the s**t works fine, the police just got ahold of a new radar system that pretty much only detects once they've already hit your ass

yes, DEI makes good alarms...

on top of that you should also do a fuel cut switch and hide it somewhere....

i have an escort radar detector and it works like a charm

Alright, thanks. I was looking at the Viper ones, but any suggestion to which one? I don't need the remote start because i don't want to have to deal with the cluth bypass s**t.

unless you hide the brains and get a back up battery i dont condone viper alarms


i have a 791xv and it was mad easy to bypass before i took extra measures... And im not even a thief!
