does anyone know how to install a component speaker system[/QUOTE

What exactly did you want to know? Do I presume correctly that you want to set up the car with separate tweeters, midrange, and subs ?
If this is the case, the mids and tweeters go in the front. Tweets work best typically mounted in the dash, but can also go in the doors with the midranges.
I expect you are going to run a channel for each component. Since you don't say what amplification you are using, I don't know if the amps have their own built in crossover networks or you are using a separate crossover unit. If a single 4 channel amp, mount it under one of the front seats with the crossover if possible.
You again don't tell me what you are doing for subs, but most amps for such have the crossovers built in. Obviously you are going to mount the subs on the back. You can put the amp for them under the other seat, or in the back with the subs.
Don't be cheap with your power wires. Minimum 10 gauge stranded, although 8 or 6 is probably nicer. For the distances involved, 12 gauge stranded speaker wire will work just fine.
Hope this helps a bit.]
