well, I think all I need to do is get the faceplate off, aka headunit - once thats off, its whats shown in the pic I linked and you get access to the bulbs, but I cant figure out for the life of me how to get the faceplate / headunit off of the OEM player and dont feel like taking the time / money to get the si one...

well cause, I removed the two screws on the side of the cd player...not the ones holding the unit into the cc, but the actually screws on the player itself, where itd seem liek if you took those off, the face would "pop" off, but I pulled and pulled and couldnt get it off...

i've got an si radio i'll let go for cheap, check my sig. :thumbs up

but if you really want to remove your headunit faceplate, you'll need to remove it from your car. there are two screws behind the faceplate you need to remove and then with a flat head screwdriver, gentlly pop and push the faceplate off. its really easy, but you have to be careful..

all u need to do is just get to the board of the headunit and just remove the old leds and just install new LEDs in it. make sure they are the same kind as the existing ones. they will more than likely be SMD LEDS
