Sorry if this is a double post, searched for a bit and couldn't find anything dealing with my question.
Right now I have 2 10's in my trunk, and they have their own amp and they are happy.
However, I am not happy with the power being put out from my speakers.
I have 2 6.5" pioneers in my front two doors, and 2 6 x 9's in my rear deck (pioneer also), the rear I think are around 150 rms, 300 max, the front was something like 30 rms, 160 peak wattage.
Should I upgrade my front door speakers?
And on to my main question, I want more power for these speakers. They can handle more, I would like more, and I believe an amp is the best way to get more power/performance out of what i've got. Am I wrong?
Could anyone point me to what I would look for in an amp, as well as a decent brand? I was planning on running new speaker wire when I did this, and ill mount it under the passenger seat, or maybe even to the back of the back seat, depending on size. I just need some input on if this is a good step to take, and what brands, and what I would need for my use.
Thanks for your input!
