Bout to head off to work, but was just trying to install a four channel amp in my car, and am getting power to it, but nothing to the speakers...I have it hooked up to two subs (temporarily), but am worried that maybe my RCAs or remote wire might be bad...when I turn on the car, also, the volume on the CD player sometimes will go to zero and not turn up...I just have the remote wire in the back of the CD player (there was a spot for it and I layed it in there, is there supposed to be an adaptor to put on the end of wire and plug into it???) If it helps any it is a Pioneer Deh-p390hp and a kicker ZX650.1, I will check this as business slows down later...I deliver pizzas, but any input or help, or ideas would be appreciated...thanks...

The remote wire usually gets spliced into the blue wire that comes out the back of the cd player harness. If it turns on like you said, then it could be the RCA's. But, the operation of your CD player shouldn't change one bit so be sure to check your wiring again. What I do to check the amp to make sure music goes through is that I bring my ipod with a "headphone jack to RCA" wires and plug that directly into the amp. It could also be the RCA Out on the back of the CD player.
