check the ground wire for the amp, or check remote wire and make sure it isnt fried.

My sub went out the other day. Turned out that that terminal in the sub just fell off. I guess the vibration finally got to it. I had it soldered on this time.

when my ground comes off, as it did the other day, the amp didn't even turn on. that's smart

yea when my ground is bad, the amp doesnt turn on. but if my remote wire is bad, the amp turns on but i hear no bass.

Then something must be wrong with the sub itself.

If you hooked up another amp and your sub worked fine then you know it is your amp. If you hook up another amp but still no sound it is either your sub itself or the wiring. Check all wiring especially if everything comes on but no sound then your RCA cable may have a problem. The sounds come through the RCA cables. It won't be your remote turn on wire if your amp comes on. The amp won't come on if the ground wire isn't connected right. Since it is coming on I don't think it a ground, amp turn on, or power wire. If you is a 2-4 channel amp you may have fried the channel. Try the other channel if that is an option.

are you sure the amp you are using is bridgable and if it is, is it stable under the ohm load you bridged it at?

You won't always see a burn mark inside the amp. If you just bought the amp there should be a factory warranty for it. Send it back. I had to send mine back and since then has worked like a charm.

i know it can be bridged because it shows you on the amp where to bridge it......i had this same amp and same speakers hooked up before and sold it but i like the system so i bought another one.....its a 760 watt pioneer amp and 2 bazooka 12s
