i have a Hifonics Brutus 1205D amp. i read you can wire it for 450watts x 1 @ 4 OHMs.

in the instruction manual, it says it can be run in a 4OHM load, but dosnt mention how to wire it like that.
im trying to get it to work with a CDT Audio HD-10SQ sub.

if i cant use that amp, please give some suggestions on what amp to buy for it. thanks alot!

Because the sub is also 4ohms, you would hook it normally, pos from the amp to pos on the sub, and neg to neg. They should be fairly well matched power wise

It comes down to what the voice coil configurations are on the sub or subs you are trying to run.

If it is a single 4 ohm voice coil then the diagram is the right way on hooking it up.

And thats the only way you can get a 4 ohm load out of one sub, if it is a single 4 ohm or a dual 2 ohm
