Amp stopped working!

Alright, I have two 2-channel amps, one powering the front speakers and one powering the back speakers. I started my car up today and was only getting sound out of my back speakers. I checked my headunit, and the fade is balanced, so i should be getting sound from the front. I went back to my trunk and noticed that the power light wasnt on for one of my amps. I checked the power wire at the battery, and its connected. Then I checked the ground and its secure as well. Pretty much, all the wires are connected at the amp (I cant really check the other ends without tearing up my car). But theres no power!

How would I go about troubleshooting this?

it's one of 4 things

you have a blown fuse

you have a bad remote wire connection

you have a bad ground to one and missed it

or your amp is fried

Thanks for the replies, Ill go out and check in a few minutes.

But I have a few questions.

1) What would exactly cause an amp to fry or for an amp to blow a fuse? I didnt have the volume really loud or anything. I think there was like a basket on top of my amp when it happened. It didnt weigh a lot or anything and it was just for a short time. Could this have caused it to fry?

2) How do I check if the fuse has blown? Its not like a normal fuse that you plug it, its like a cylindrical tube.

Thanks again,
Jason

I figured it out: apparently, one of the wires got loose on the inline fuse.

Thanks to everyone!
