Amp Whine

Hope this isn't a repost, but couldn't find it when I searched. I recently took out my sub and the big amp, and put in a 4 channel amp wired to the 4 speakers. Now I have a high pitch whining sound that raises and lowers with the RPM's. I looked online and read that your not supposed to wire your power next to your RCA's, or any other wires, so I then redid the wiring so that all of the wires don't run together. I've gone through everything over and over again. I've checked all the wires for a stretched wire, or a splice, or a loose wire...nothing. I've tried moving the ground to diffierent spots, and I've tried a couple opther amps, but nothing fixes the problem.
One other thing I read was usuing a ground loop isolator. That's my next resort, but if that doesn't work, I have no idea. Any ideas/suggestions/solutions/ would be helpful. Thanks.

check your RCA plugs u might have to pull them apart and tape em up, i hada cheap amp kit and that was the problem, another thing it might be is if one of the wires have a cut and are touching metal.. id disconnect the amp if i was you mine blew up from it,

Check for what he said. Also, a noise filter might take care of that problem for you.

i had an old pyramid amp that did that, i upgraded to an alipne and i didnt have the probmel naymore...but i would reccomended either running an inline noise filter, or maybe try taping or insulating the RCA cables

How close is your power wire from the battery to your RCA's? If they are too close it'll pick up noise.

Perhaps upgraded RCA cables would help.

Power supply wire doesn't matter much. Stranded copper is stranded copper but you might be able to isolate the whine with a better quality shielded RCA cable.

Noise filter is going to be easier than running your RCAs again though
