For some reason my amp never turns off. Ive run the blue remote wire from my head unit to the amp but my amp is always on even when my car is off. Thank you for any help. Plus if no one knows the exact reason, please tell me how to make a switch for it if it comes to that.

to make the switch, simply cut the remote wire in half, simple as that. then put a switch that connects the remotes. its easy.

Are you sure you ran the remote wire to the right wire into your headunit? You might of just ran it to the direct power...

To do a switch all you have to do is run the remote wire to the switch and then ground the switch, and get power to the switch... which you could do by doing what silvertuned said.

Also, be careful not to have any sloppy wire form the power line on your amp touching your remote or vice-versa. Either that, or if your remote wraps around your power wire a lot, it can sometimes pick up some energy through the casing. I had that happen to my system when I first installed it. But if all of that fails, swing by your auto parts store and grab a switch.
