starting to collect parts for my turbo. already have gsr cams, and virgin p28 ecu.
things to buy:
tial 38mm wastegate
tial BOV
InlinePro Log mani
Spoolin FMIC or JohnnyRaceCar FMIC
custom piping
hondata s200
aem fpr
aem urgo controller
DSM 450 injectors
b16 stock motor. planning on sleeving, rods and pistons.

but right now. i can't decide on a turbo.
options:
t3/t4 w/ or without internal wastegate.
gt28r WITH internal wastegate.
ill only be running 10psi until motor is built.

also! ill be selling parts to help pay for this project once i get the parts. this is my dd so i can't have too much garage time. ill be selling my aem v2 with k&n filter, dc sports 4-2-1 one piece stainless header, b16 cams (no one will buy haha)

tell me what you think.

glad to here your making head-way on your project. A couple suggestions:

DELETE:

hondata s200
aem fpr
aem urgo controller
DSM 450 injectors

ADD:

uberdata / conversion harness / wideband (much cheaper & and already have the p28)
RC injectors (ive heard numerous ppl having problems with DSMs)

About the turbo choice, let me just say, I have the GT28R (internally wastegated) and LOVE it. Wouldn't go another route, for a D its perfect. It really depends on your power goals, but for 250whp-300whp, its one of the best out there, IMO.

Good luck finding it for cheap though, the go for about $800 + new. I got mine for $500 shipped, used 100 miles.

the only problem with the gt28r is finding one for a good price. what wideband do you suggest?

Don't use a p28 with a b-series. Some users could recommend a better ecu, I can't off the top of my head. If i'm correct, the p28 was a sohc vtec ecu.

if its chipped, it can run whatever maps you want...

ive ran a chipped p06(sohc vtec) on a turbo GSR with no issues
