hey guys...this is my first post....i bought the gen 2 dual projector angel eyes and one of the halos broke, one night it just started to blink really fast and then went out. I wanted to know if anyone knew how to fix them or find replacement parts because i really don't want to buy a new set.

So like one of the actual rings went out?? How longs have you had them on? How long were they actually working?

I've never had my halo's go out. How did you wire them up? It might have pulled out of the little diode behind that rubber seal that covers the back of the headlight bulb. I did that to mine on accident and soldered it back together.

I have dual halo projectors see my sig... anways how long ago did you buy them. You might want to check the place you got them at to see if they will replace them. If not you do have options. One of my headlight projectors was to low because it fell out of place. The place I got them at said it had been to long since I bought so they wouldn't replace. But they were nice enough to explain to me how to fix them and I did. Work fine now.

the blinking thing makes it seem like a connection problem rather than the actual led. i say recheck the wires

well this happend about a month ago...and i call the company up and they said that they couldn't replace them because it's already been over 90 days...i'm going to be taking my headlights out tonight because i'm replacing the blubs so i'll check the wiring but if it's not the wiring how would i fix it, i have the same lights as stealthsi009 except mine are the ones with chrome housing. i also called the company and they said that the only way to fix it was to purchase another one and i can't because they're on backorder and don't know when they're going to be getting them back in stock.

nick1982, the problem I had is different from yours, but I will tell how it did it.

Tools:
1.flat head screwdriver
2.blow dryer
3.resealing gaulk silicone gel
4.gaulk gun
5.time (about 2 hours)
6.patience
7.maybe another friend to help (optional)

Long story longer. I opened up the headlights with the blowdryer and flat head screwdriver and tighten up a lose srew that holds the projector lense up. Which is why one headlight was too low and the other look to bright.

Your problem sounds like the halo ring burnt out. If you choose to open the headlight you can preaty much dismantel the whole thing. It's just screws you have to remove. Check the wiring that connect directly to the halo light first and see if that fixes the problem and connect them back to the car just how they are in pieces. If that doesn't work, then you probably will have to replace the halo ring. Which is possible people sell them seperetly all the time. Check your local import magazines.
To re-seal the headlights you will have to prep both pieces with the blow dryer. Re-heat them and remove all the excess original glue. Then put them back together as tight as you can with your hands. Then use the gaulk gun with the gaulk silicone gel to reseal them. Put the tip of the gun right on the grove where the headlight comes apart and shoot some in there. You should see some of the silicone gel go inside which is a good sign. Then just do the whole thing. Allow it to dry for about 15 min, then you can put them back on your car. If when it rains or you wash your car the headlights condense, just wait for them to dry and reseal them again.

I have done this process many times with many different cars. It's totally safe and very good method. Some people are afraid to do it, but you just have to be careful and have patience. Once you have mastered it you can do it in less time.

Well, hope this helps if not sorry dude. God Bless =)
