Another n00b Question (PLEASE ANSWER!!)

after readng the 5th gen info and specs, and reading posts on this forum and on JDMcivic.com, people have mentioned 5th gen hatchback SiR's and Vt-i's, Could someone please explain to me what they are, cuz i have never heard of one.

And my last question, 5th gen hatcehs are called EG's right?
Well whats the difference between an EG6, and an EG9?

you wont find a vti or an si-r in the us......... in canada you guys do have the si-r. it is equivalent to our si........ i think the vti is the european version of the same car.......

Team4R is right,for example the Civic Si 99-00 you got is called Civic vti here in Europe.But we got the hatch with b16a2 and not the coupe.

no not every car that is called si has a b16, the older si hatches have a d16....the only si that has a b16 is the 99-00....also the diff between eg6, and eg9 is the number just means the trim, ex, dx, whatever, im not sure which each translates to tho...google that up....yes vti a european car, with a b16, the 5th gens and 6th gens have the b16a2.....

Well we got the Del Sol 92-97 with B16a2 and like BioHazard said the 92-95 Civic.And also the Civic/CRX 90-91 with a B16a1

hehe... u can if u have the money..
but the mounts and electronics and arrangement inside the engine bay and shape and emissions and everything is so different... way tooo new, big year/gen gap
itd cost way too much u might as well jus get a b series and turbo the s**t outa it for the money ud be spendin on a k series
but im also very newbie my self soooo.........
yea take what u want from that
