antenna reception

I'm having problems in my 98 LX with the reception from my antenna. Most stations are ok but there are two that literally all of my friends have no problem picking up perfectly clear however I can't get them at all. Any idea what would be causing this? Is this a known problem?

could be a bad/loose connection with the antenna wire

buy something like this

and you'll have no problem picking up radio stations

connection seems to be ok, any other ideas?
