Before you read any of this I have used google multiple times and it didnt come up with anything. Well I bought 2 front prelude seats last week and I tried to fit the passenger one in and it wouldn't line up. (The previous owner said it was direct bolt in and that he had them on his 97 coupe, and for 40$ why not?) Does anyone know of any shops here in San Antonio or Texas where I can just take the car and seats and tell them to make them fit? I know its possible but I don't know where to look. Its either put them in the car or sell them.

I have a 99 Honda Civic EX coupe the I don't know what year the Prelude seats came out of, but I do know that they are 5th Gen seats.

That's them. ^^

I have tried taking that side of the rail and the same side where the seat belt would be on the ek's seats but it wouldn't line up. Idk man but this thing is kinda frustrating.

Yes I've seen this, but this guy said they were bolt in that's why I bought them. I also have seen the Honda tech write up to make them fit which I couldn't understand and it does need pics. Anything else?

^^ Yes you're right thanks for correcting me idk that much about preludes.

Do any of the bolt holes line up?
The two front ones line up only if you pull the rail with a lot of force, and the back 2 don't line up at all.

U could always drill two new holes for the back and bolt them through the floor.

I would if I had the tools and I don't want to put 2 holes throught the carpet. Besides one of the wholes in the back would rest on 2 different heights.

Drill two holes and use a spacer to mount it.

True, but how big does the drill bit need to be in order to fit these the OEM bolts.

I was thinking 8mm, if I drill those boles will I go through the floor pan?

I would get a step bit and open it up until it fits...

True, I could do that, but I don't want to go throught the floor pan. Which is one of my concerns.
