Okay, i have a 2000 civic lx

Engine is stock d16y7, i want to swap but not sure what to put in it?!

It has been lowered with eibach sportline springs
5% tint all around
17" motegi rims
catback exhaust system

what else should i do?

lips, headlights, shifters?

Hey nice 4dr and what to put in it? ... i see you have the basic parts already on your car try and balance it out between performance parts and exterior & interior parts on our kind of car. maybe you should focus more on some performance parts for your engine, or even swapping it.

Yea, sorry for the repost for some reason my computer/internet was messing up and it wasnt letting me do anything to the other post.

But thanks, i want to do a swap but i don't want something just so ridiculously crazy, my buddy was telling me to get an h22 engine?

But if i kept this engine the d16y7, what could i possibly do to it to make it any better :/

if you really want that one, you can do a mini-me. but i say get some 50/50 tails and get stuff paint matched

the y7 would only be worth messing with for real performance if you mini me swapped it IMO anyway up to you though

please don't do a mini me! i did this and it's the biggest waste, not to mention you will NOT pass emissions if your state requires them.

do simple cosmetic accents to clean her up...but really, what are you wanting? power, looks, bit of both??

I am looking for a bit of both honestly, i honestly want to be able to be able to side by side with my girlfriends dads 06 civic si, so i guess a lot of power lol.

And paint match? why?

You will not get power w/ your motor. y7's IMO are so pointless unless you want it a cruiser. I hate boost but people will argue to boost a y8, or swap to a B(my opinion).

Paint match the door trim, mirrors, a lip, and skirts they mean. Headlights I'd just DIY gunmetal.

So if i were to swap, what engine would you all suggest? i still want ac and ps so.
