It's ok. What kind of HU are you running with? I just got a Kenwood iPod adapter for $50.

I guess I'm lucky... I just need to buy the cable from Honda and it will directly feed into my car. :D

I would rather hard wire a charger into my 12v plug.... Only thing holding me back is seeing if i would use that plug for anything else..

'99 and up Honda factory radios can get the connectors. I'll have to find the link again. I have a '99-'00 Si CD player in my car. =) I love it. Low-key (who's going to want to break in just for a stock CD player?) and matches both the interior trim and the lighting.

if you want the fm modulation setup i would go with a wired setup audiovox makes one and they work fine also i would try to go to circuit city or something like that because i think they might have an adaptor for a 98 civic. it is made by a third party company.

I have an iTrip cable by Griffin that works through radio signals. It works okay for the ~$30 I bought it for. The other cable will cost more, so I'll get it when I have some extra cash.

I knwo the '98s share more things in common with the '99-'00s that hte '96-'97 cars... but I'm not sure what they all are. I know one (at elast on the EX) is the map lights up front.
