Any Tips on shock/spring/camber kit install?

I just gathered all my parts. Here is what I have:
96 Civic EX Coupe
Koni Yellow Sport Shocks (adj)
H&R Sport Springs (Black ones)
Ingall type camber kits (upper control arm on front, adj on rear)

I bought all new OEM hardware for the shocks so they are assembled and ready to install, that way I can swap the stock ones back on later.

Are there any things I should look out for? I"ll post pics when the mods are done (before and after to show the total drop)..

Thanks

Kev

Great set up man, my suggestion would be to get help from someone that has done it before, and if you rent a spring compressor, be careful

spring compressor

I don't need to use a spring compressor. The springs were short enough to have the top cap put on with just a bit of musle. I am going to leave the the stock ones together so when I sell the car I'll strip the parts (maybe)...

sounds like you have a great set-up! now, what is it your looking for tips on? If it's the install, everything is pretty straight forward, undo the nuts for the strut cap, undo the lower bolts, undo the fork from the strut, pull it all out. Put everything back on in reverse order! Hope I was some help! Also, I think everything will be 14mm and 17mm!

also make sure when you lower the car back down you can get the jack out cause the car will be low

put a block of wood or something under where the tire is going to end up, cuz if the springs are so short that you don't need s pring compressor, then your car is going to be SLAMMED!

It's pretty simple assuming that none of the bolts have ceased. If they have, good "F"ing luck... I tried replacing mine and I ended up giving up after like 6 hours on one corner, three trips to the local Canadian Tire (it's like Auto Zone for you Yankees from what I gather) and a rental of an air compressor!

Ended up giving it to my mech who did it in under three hours all around and spent the rest of my day chilling instead of cursing!

i have an 00 civic and it was pretty easy and straight foreward. i did the front first and then the back. you may want a torque wrench and i'm surprised about not needing a spring compressor. damn that's short. well, good luck! and do send pics (before & after) later! hope it turns out ok. but hey, give yourself a full day just in case something doesn't go as planned. but it's not that complicated. the fun part is taking it all apart :D HAVE FUN!!!

here's my recomendation: go to the store and buy some liquid wrench. it'll help you out immensely.
