I got sparco seats..... sparco harnesses.... do i need a sparco harness bar? or can i connect the seat belts some other way?? damn things are starting to cost me wayyyy to much money if i have to get a harness bar. Confused?
anybody know anything about racing seat harness?

i'll be the first to tell you, harness bars are junk, it is not safe to use racing harnesses without a roll bar. reason being in the event of a rollover stock triangulated seat belts allow you to be pushed to the side, racing harnesses on the other hand keep you up right, yea i htink you can let your imagination do the rest. i would suggest an autopower roll bar, their like 300$ last i checked. bolt in so you dont have to weld anything.

truthfully... i know this might sound bad to some people but i dont wear a seat belt no matter how fast i am going. I have had a bad experience with them. I just like putting them on if a cop is behind me or if i have to go thru a checkpoint. And when i bought the seats the harness came with them.
FYI, racing harnesses are not DOT approved! A cop can still pull you over and ticket you for racing harnesses. I've had friends get pulled over and ticketed for not wearing a safety belt when they were wearing 5 pt harnesses. Your reason for install isnt a good idea, keep the stock belts.
