i know that people swear by this, not sure if i would do it,but who knows.it kinda makes sense to me,but in a way it doesnt,bc i mean it doesnt really strengthen the sleeves, and thats what you are trying to reinforce...

Just beacuse you do something yourself it is not ghetto. Domestic guys have been doing this for a long time, and the import guys are just catching on.

read up on there, oscarmyer might give yourself a second thought on block filling
i think the people who have actually tested and tried the idea agree otherwise... sure theres always people that are going to disagree that its not the way the "pros" do it.. but you have to remember that the pros have money.. we dont.

ive personally seen a motor ghetto filled running mad boost. i dont know how long it ran, if it still runs, or anything like that.. but i know i saw it run down the line and pull a sick 13 sec et.

I wonder if the filler has a different thermal expantion rate than the sleeves.

^Definitely my concern with the filler method. The post method is supposed to have the same.

The posts I know but with the filler the more I think about it the less of a problem thermal expansion is.

Why do this if the stock block can hold a good amt of power anyways. 13 sec block filled D-series? We were doing low 12s with a basic turbo kit on stock motors back in 1996 at 10psi. You dont need Posting, block fillers or block guards. They are overrated.
