Anyone bought an el acura and brought to us?

I'm looking at a Canada acura el to buy and part out. I will be using the front clip on my car and selling the rest to cover my cost but I'm just wondering if anyone has done this and can tell me what they did. I live close enough to the border. I'm really considering asking the seller to cross the border and sell it here to save me the agrevation of crossing the border and dealing with customs and since I really don't want to register it I think it might be the best way. But if it's easy enough I might go north of the border if only to have a title. Anyway let me know what you know thanks.

theres plenty of people that already have the conversion in the states. both front and rear. let me know if you need help sourcing it.

why don't you just buy the front instead of the whole car? They sell EL 1.6 front ends on eBay all the time.
