you are going to have to splice into your vtec wire anyway, so just make your own kit... i did my own and i put it down by the climate control and it's one of those led lights with the nut on the back thats made to be mounted flush.

well if you have to tap into your wires anyways, i say just make your own because that will be alot easier. get some clear printer paper material, print VTEC (the size of the little circle on your cluster) and cut it out and place it behind the hole to make that. and then just cut into the wires and throw an LED behind it. shouldnt cost you more than $15 to do yourself...unless the clear paper is expensive....borrow one.

i bought a kit from jujeracing.com because it was half price for a returning customer the 2nd time around when i got my black shift boot. and he's right, it does take only 30 minutes to install... it was very easy to do, but i ended up not liking it and took the whole thing out.

i think i am gonna just grab the kit from him.... anyone know if its easy to relocate a light that is already in to another position? i wanna put the VTEC light on the Tach where the SRS light is right now... and then move the SRS light one of the other unused spots

I'm not a big fan of mods like this, but noeladams has done this himself and could tell you how hard it is to do.

Remember that the VTEC will not engage when the engine temperature is cool (unless you have a VTEC controller). Don't be alarmed if the light doesn't come on when you pass 5500rpm. Wait for normal operating temperatures then try again. If it doesn't light, you'll have to go back and check your connections. If the check engine light comes on or the car won't go into VTEC then you probably messed something up.
well isnt that juss something you want to try...

it's so easy to do thou, the only hard part is locating the wire and opening it up w/o cutting it in half. i cut into the wire right by the ecu and ran it from there. the ground i think is right to the ecu. i haven't looked at it in a while
